Fred is a  U.K. based artist delving into the profound impact of contemporary issues on the human soul. Through the mediums of paint and video installation, he navigates the intricate interplay between societal challenges and the essence of our being .

The Art Career:

Fred Fabre’s works, which echo contemporary concerns unfiltered, gained exposure through impactful exhibitions. Key highlights include participation in: (5th Base, London 2014), film installation (YALE University/Kensington Palace 2017), Modern Panic X (Guerrilla Zoo, London 2019), inclusion in academic discourse such as “Climate Action and Visual Culture” (University of Huddersfield, 2021),  “Action Against Hate” (University of Westminster/Get the Trolls Out, 2023), and selected to exhibit in the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum (Coventry 2023). Fred has also exhibited in group shows in London, Athens, Prague, Budapest and Mexico. In November 2023, Fabre was granted the DYCP (Developing Your Creative Practice) award by Arts Council England.

Awards include the Refresh Art Award (winner Our Times) in 2019, BAFTA winner in 2005 and a 2006 nomination for his camera work on documentaries.
